Multidisciplinary Team
Our team of dynamic healthcare experts is comprised of therapy professionals, registered nurses and administrators. The number of combined years our staff shares in the Long Term Care arena far surpasses 100 years. Harmony seeks and hires individuals who are leaders in the long term care / health industry with a reputation for exemplary job performance. Noted skills include PPS management, Medicare Part B program facilitation and growth, survey preparation, budgeting for rehabilitation programs, as well as staff education and development. Each individual of our on-staff team has extensive experience with the RAI process, Minimum Data Set completion in addition to widespread PPS and case mix knowledge with Medicare documentation skills. Each member integrates their many years of clinical experience with MDS, PPS and reimbursement knowledge.
The Harmony Healthcare consultant team is a member in good standing of each discipline association with notoriety from published material in trade periodicals.

The selection process for this elite team of experts begins with an extensive interview process, a presentation of abilities to our existing team followed by a thorough reference check. Kris Mastrangelo
President and CEO
Kris has more than 14 years of experience in the long-term care industry. An Occupational Therapist degree from Tufts University followed by a Master's in Business Administration and Nursing Home Administrator's License affords Kris an in-depth perspective into the nursing home industry.
Initially providing direct care as an occupational therapist, Kris became familiar with the Medicare reimbursement system. Her position evolved into the management of in-house rehabilitation programs to Vice President of Operations for a national consulting company to Vice President of Reimbursement. Her experience includes the development and presentation of training modules (clinical, financial, operational and reimbursement) for large healthcare corporations, implementation of in-house rehabilitation programs, management of Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting, change of ownership applications, budgeting, skilled nursing facility clinical and financial analysis along with vendor contracting.
John Routhier
Director of Sales and Marketing
John is responsible for developing, overseeing and implementing all sales and marketing initiatives, corporate and business development, strategic alliances, joint ventures and corporate strategy. This includes innovative and strategic marketing plans and alliances, developing new lines of business and corporate strategy.
John is a graduate of Tufts University in Medford, MA where he also captained the football team. John comes to Harmony with an impressive job history of receiving multiple awards and promotions to senior level sales and marketing management positions throughout his career.
Elisa Bovee, MS OTR/L
Director of Education and Training
Elisa has been working in the long term care industry for over 14 years practicing and providing consulting services related to therapy services and Medicare regulations and guidelines. Her familiarity with the Medicare system within a long term care environment began when she worked as a staff Occupational Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility for a large national corporation. She quickly advanced to become the Director of Rehabilitation for two facilities and then was promoted to a Regional Manager within the corporation. Elisa served as an Appeals Coordinator for three years within the Northeast region, working with facilities to address Medicare denials. In 2003, Elisa began working for Harmony Healthcare as a Regional consultant. As a consultant for Harmony Healthcare Elisa assisted clients to enhance quality of care through chart auditing, service delivery analysis and in-service education. Currently, Elisa holds the position of Director of Education and Training for Harmony Healthcare. This position entails research, analysis and design of training programs for Harmony Healthcare staff and clients. She is responsible for researching program content for development of education activities. Her experience has entailed education of nursing staff and management, therapy staff and management as well as administrators in the long term care setting.
